An independent cake shop and baking school on Church Street in Caversham, Reading. It makes custom celebration cakes, sells cupcakes, brownies and drinks to take away, and runs cake-decorating workshops for children and adults. Celebration and occasion cakes are a big part of the business, so ask about lead times for custom designs. Regulars tend to come back for custom birthday cakes, cupcakes and brownies.
Doors are open on 5 days each week (it shuts on Monday and Tuesday). The earliest you can drop in is 9am. Sundays are covered too.
Arriving by public transport? Head for Reading station; from there it is a walk of about 14 minutes. It is not the only option nearby: there are 2 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done. It is about 0.8 mi from the centre of Reading.
